Who We Are

Fit HQ Owners

We are Dan and Jordie, the owners of Fit HQ,

We opened Fit HQ in November 2021 after years of working as personal trainers in a commercial gym, starting when we were just 21. During that time we also built and ran our own outdoor bootcamp sessions together, which quickly grew into a strong community of people who loved training hard and supporting each other (a lot of these ‘bootcampers’ we call them, are still part of our community today!

After getting married and starting our family, we decided it was time to create the kind of space we always wanted - a gym built around great coaching, hard work and a genuinely supportive community.

We pride ourselves on creating a place to work out where everyday people can challenge themselves, build strength and be surrounded by people who genuinely want to see them succeed.

Now we are coming up to 5 years of Fit HQ and we couldn’t be more stoked at what started as a few regular bootcamp sessions per week to what it is now!

Fit HQ Trainers

Dan (The Man) - Daniel is owner and head coach. He has years of experience as a coach and is the reason for his spectacular explanations of each class and exercise. He is a proud Dad to 2 girls and is a proud Husband. He is slightly obsessed with Hyrox… just ask him.

Jordie - Jordie is our behind the scenes lady as well as her 2 classes she runs each week. She is wife of Daniel and Mum to 2 little girlies (6 + 3). If you are a new Mum, she is your go to person for all of that.

Samantha - Sam has been with us for a year now. She is a Mum to 2 teenage boys, a wife and a brilliant trainer! She has a strong english accent (you’ll hear it). She makes you work hard, doesn’t take many excuses but is so friendly!

Arran - Arran is our young gun trainer! Lots of energy, is forever working out himself and is about to take part in his first Hyrox race! You will see him at all our cardio classes pushing you along.

Why Fit HQ?

At the end of the day, our goal was simple: Create a place where people enjoy training, feel comfortable showing up and leave each session feeling better than when they walked in.
