FIT HQ Class Descriptions:

FUNCTION - The perfect blend of strength and cardio. Expect a mix of barbell lifts, kettlebell and dumbbell work, paired with conditioning on the cardio machines. A well rounded session that does it all.

LIFT - Built for strength. This class is all about weights - barbells, kettlebells, and dumbbells - focusing on proper technique and progressive overload to help you get stronger every week.

ENGINE - Get ready to sweat. A high-energy, cardio-focused session designed to get your heart rate up and keep it there. The perfect midweek calorie burner.

SWITCH UP - Our Saturday crowd favourite. You never quite know what’s coming - but you can count on a fun, high-energy session with the whole Fit HQ crew. The best way to start the weekend.

PILATES - A low-impact, core-focused session designed to improve strength, stability, and mobility. Pilates helps build control through the smaller muscle groups, supports injury prevention, and leaves you feeling strong, balanced, and refreshed.

BARBELL - This class breaks down Olympic-style movements like the clean and jerk into simple, easy-to-learn steps. With a strong focus on form and confidence, it’s the perfect place to learn, practice, and get comfortable using the barbell - no experience needed.

HQ HYBRID - HQ Hybrid combines strength and cardio in a structured session inspired by competitions like HYROX and Turf Games. You’ll start with a lifting component before moving into a high-energy conditioning piece. Whether you’re curious about competing or just want to challenge yourself in a new way, this class is built to push you - at your own pace.

  • KIDZONE - We have a gated kids area! Your children are more than welcome to come along with you to all sessions. We are also pram friendly.

  • We welcome all fitness levels to all classes whether you are just starting out or are a regular gym goer!

Such an amazing gym & community, Dan and Jordie have done a wonderful job. My fitness level is quite low and I was nervous to join a gym. However, the trainers I've had in classes (Sam and Arran) are brilliant at demonstrating movements, giving pointers and encouraging you. The people I've met in classes are lovely & trainers welcome everybody as they come in, the atmosphere is great. So glad I joined, definitely give them a go even if you're new to fitness!
